    Oglach Joseph Whitty
    Died 2 September 1923


    Joseph Whitty was a volunteer with the South Wexford brigade of the IRA. He was arrested with other Republican forces and interned in the Curragh camp.

    Joe Whitty died on hunger strike on September 2nd 1923 at Newbridge military hospital, his body was interred in Ballymore.
